I will be delivering a Grand Rounds Presentation on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 12 PM to 2 PM PST. My presentation is titled “Rapid Review: Benefits of Therapeutic Carbohydrate Reduction (TCR) Throughout the Body”.

To illustrate the potential of TCR, Dr. Eric Westman said it perfectly when talking about the benefits, “It’s so unbelievable, it’s unbelievable”. In our daily clinical practice, we consistently witness the remarkable effects of TCR, which extend well beyond its established role in managing type 2 diabetes and obesity. By optimizing metabolic health through TCR, patients reverse diabetes, enhance their mental well-being, and elevate their overall quality of life. It is imperative for practitioners to continue contributing to the growing body of evidence showcasing these remarkable outcomes.

I knew about many of the benefits that TCR provided for my patients, but I was not aware of the breadth of its impact on a wide array of medical conditions. Case reports reveal promising results in the management of conditions such as Huntington’s disease, hidradenitis suppurativa, multiple sclerosis, and many more.

During my presentation, I will delve into the comprehensive benefits of TCR throughout the human body by reviewing studies conducted in humans, starting with the brain and progressing through the heart, lungs, kidneys, skin, cancer, and beyond. It is my hope that this presentation will shed light on the incredible potential of TCR to revolutionize healthcare and improve the lives of individuals facing various medical challenges.
